baby mittens
I made these in February of 2009 when my sister was pregnant with my nephew. At the time I couldn't find a pattern I really liked, so I made these up. I've seen some added to Ravelry since then.
My sister said she never used these. She said his fingers would poke through the little holes, but I can't remember seeing him with mittens on, ever.
I think this was my first pattern, so I hope everything is right. I hope I’ve used the correct terms. Please let me know if you find something wrong or have any questions.
H Hook
Rnd 1: 8 single chain in ring. (8)
Pull “tail” to tighten ring.

Rnd 2: 1 sc in each sc (8)
Rnd 3: 2 sc in each sc (16)
Rnd 4: 1 sc each in next 3 sc, then 2 sc in next 1 sc and repeat until end of rnd. (20)
Rnds 5-8: 1 sc in each sc (20)

Finish off and weave ends in.
